Nonkululeko Nyembezi: Independent non-executive chairman of The Standard Bank Group

With her appointment as The Standard Bank Group’s first female chairman on 1 June 2022, Nonkululeko Nyembezi began a new chapter in her illustrious business career and cemented her position as a trailblazer for women in leadership throughout Africa.

Combining formidable academic credentials with a distinguished and globally-recognised record of performance, Ms Nyembezi stands as an embodiment of our commitment to pioneering possibilities for women and a beacon to others in our group.

Neemarose Singo: Head of Brand and Marketing, Stanbic Bank Tanzania

Neemarose Singo is a skilled and passionate communicator, dedicated to building relationships and showcasing our brand in its best light. Her innovative approach to marketing and commitment to building a brand that engages with our customers serve as inspiration to us all.

Margaret Nienaber: Standard Bank Group Chief Operating Officer

Recently appointed COO Margaret Nienaber is an award-winning leader with a distinguished career of service and achievement within the Standard Bank Group and beyond. Her forward-thinking approach and focus on innovation and performance, have seen various divisions under her leadership recognised as Africa’s best.  We look forward to her extending this culture of excellence to more areas of the Group.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms Nienaber serves as a member of a number of global forums dedicated to advancing women’s leadership and promoting equality.

Anne Juuko: Chief Executive Officer, Stanbic Bank Uganda
