What can you expect?
Through a work-based approach to learning, you’ll gain a real-world understanding of Standard Bank Group, as you’re guided and supported to achieve the goals you’ve set yourself.The programme integrates practical and theory, and includes both structured work experience and structured learning with an accredited training provider – leading to an SAQA accredited qualification.
We’re working to grow potential for young people throughout Africa. And with a Standard Bank Group Learnership, yours could know no limits.
You can choose from a number of learnerships, offering between 12 to 24 months’ fixed term employment. You’ll receive a monthly stipend, plus invaluable coaching and mentoring while you’re studying for your qualification.

You can apply for a Standard Bank Group Learnership if you've completed a Grade 12 (matric) or a 3-year post grade 12 (matric) qualification (role dependent).
To apply, you must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between the ages of 18 and 30
- Be able to speak, read and write English
- Have completed Grade 12 (matric) or a 3-year post grade 12 (matric) qualification (role dependent)
- Be computer literate
- Not be permanently employed
- Not be studying at another tertiary institution
- Not be registered for any other learnerships

Our System Support teams design and plan network infrastructure, install, and configure network devices, monitor, and troubleshoot network issues, document network configurations and changes and adapt to emerging networking technologies.

Feature Analyst
Our Feature Analyst teams are responsible for understanding, facilitating, and clarifying business requirements and work in collaboration with business stakeholders and feature teams to ensure that the business requirements are delivered effectively.
You will work under the supervision and expertise of the technical leads and learn to capture and maintain business and data rules essential for iteration execution. Create and maintain Epics, stories and tasks to monitor progress and produce regular reports and statistics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX, technology, support, testing, and other subject matter experts to clarify and refine user story requirements. Document findings from elicitation sessions and workshops to support iteration requirements. Refine and update all tasks in the backlog to prepare for the upcoming sprint. Track the progress of stories within the current iteration, identify any blocked or at-risk stories, and reassign them as needed. Participate in discovery and inception workshops to create a shared understanding of user needs and the required technology solutions. Participate in iteration meetings, including product backlog grooming, planning meetings, daily stand-ups, review meetings, and retrospectives. Manage the backlog by ensuring all requirements are captured, stories are properly linked to epics, and tasks are identified for each sprint. Identify gaps or inconsistencies and address gaps or inconsistencies in the user story map. Coordinate stories, ensuring all requirements are documented as stories and tasks, and are linked to epics. Provide regular feedback on product development progress and validate that deliverables meet business goals. Collaborate with the Product Owner to review and update user stories as required. Collaborate with stakeholders to showcase completed stories and gather feedback
